Tim is currently Senior Director, Information Technology at Eli Lilly and Company, where he is responsible for driving IT strategy and solution delivery for the Medicines Development Unit. In this role, Tim directs a global portfolio of change initiatives and IT programs in partnership with senior business and research executives for global regulatory affairs, global patient safety, and product research & development.
Tim began his career with Lilly in 1990 as a Systems Analyst and has held several positions in the Global Information Technology organization supporting US and Global sales & marketing, manufacturing, and research & development. In addition, he has held business roles in the Human Resources and Sales & Marketing components, including serving as District Sales Leader for the Lilly Osteoporosis Specialty Business Unit in the southeastern part of the United States.
Tim was recognized by Diversity MBA Magazine with the “Top 50 Under 50” Young Corporate Executives Award and by the Indianapolis Business Journal with the “Top 40 Under 40” award. One of his projects was honored by the Bio-IT World Conference with a Best Practices Award in Clinical Research. A native of Charleston, West Virginia, Tim earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management and Computer Science from Purdue University and his Master of Management (MBA) degree from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Tim is married and the father of two children. He is an advocate and sponsor for youth development programs with an information technology emphasis.
